The app is a reader for this site: your own town's latest issue first, each
town's archive, every address in the news with a search across all
6 towns, and the meetings coming up and just held. It can
tell you in the morning when your town has a new issue, and put the headline
on your Home Screen. It shows the same issues you can read here, written the
same way — see how this newsletter is
made.
Privacy policy
The app collects no data. It fetches the newsletters from this site
and nothing else. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising
and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about you, your device or what you read
is sent to us or to anyone else; the issues you have opened are kept only on
your device so they open without a connection.
What you choose in the app stays on your device: the towns you call yours,
the places you follow, and whether you asked for notifications. Notifications
are made on your device: the app checks this site in the background and
compares what it finds with what you have already seen. There is no push
service and no list of who is notified. Adding a meeting to your calendar
opens the system's own new-event sheet; the app never reads your calendar.
Links in a story (source documents, meeting videos, maps) open the town's
or the video host's own website, which has its own privacy policy.
This site itself is a static site with no analytics or cookies.
