Across-the-street neighbor urges Commission to stop stalling on 400 Oakdale project

A design and building proposal at 400 Oakdale Avenue came before the Planning Commission Tuesday, and at least one nearby resident wanted commissioners to know she's tired of waiting for a decision.

Deborah Harvey, who says she lives directly across the street on Chapman, wrote to the Commission ahead of the hearing to back the project outright. She called the plan a 'beautiful project' that would improve the neighborhood and argued the review process has dragged on too long over what she characterized as manufactured objections.
