After months of work, the renovated Fire Station 20 at 150 Butterfield Road is back in service, with firefighters having moved back into the newly updated building.
The town is inviting residents to mark the milestone at a public celebration on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, giving neighbors a chance to tour the refreshed station and thank the crews who kept operating through the renovation.

Equity committee's October agenda sticks to routine housekeeping
With no property disputes or contested votes on the table, the Racial Equity Committee's October 6 meeting is largely procedural: members will approve minutes from the September 1 regular meeting and the September 15 special session.
The one substantive item is a status check — a brief update on the film screening planned for December 3 and a follow-up report on what came out of September's special meeting. It's a light close to a week with little else moving through town committees.
