Commission to recommend General Plan 2045 to council

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Final Draft General Plan 2045 and its Final Program Environmental Impact Report at its November 2 meeting, with the commission expected to make a recommendation to the Town Council.

A Program EIR has been prepared for the plan under CEQA review, covering the document's environmental impacts townwide. The hearing marks a key step before the General Plan heads to the council for adoption.

The same meeting also takes up a variance request at 6 Meadowcroft Dr., where the owner is seeking relief to build an addition within the north interior side setback and convert a detached garage into living space within the south side and rear setbacks. Staff has found the garage-conversion project categorically exempt from further CEQA review.
